“I found out everybody’s different – the same kind of different as me. We’re all just regular folks walking down the road God done set in front of us. The truth about it is, whether we is rich or poor or something in between, this earth ain’t no final resting place. So in a way, we is all homeless – just working our way toward home” From the movie Same Kind of Different as Me (2017)
It could not be describing it better. Our feelings of longing for the lost Heaven are nothing else but the remembrance of our home, the source where we all come from. We feel it in our hearts; we know it in our minds. Then, why are we afraid of death, one may ask? Well, I do not know; I guess it is only because of our short memory and detachment from God. Remember, when we lose loved ones, they are going home. Let us be happy for them. When we do so, we are the most selfless human being.
Everyone’s journey always ended, but that does not mean we cannot take another one, only after we return home.
