A middle-life crisis is nothing but an awakening call. We come to the point that we may realize that we are not happy with what we have achieved. However, some of us deepen more in physicality and fulfill our dreams with sex, cars, or drugs. After all, the crisis ends in despair, with us realizing that we are still unfulfilled. Maybe, at that time, we get what the awakening call was, and we follow it. If not, we may end up being unhappy, depressed, and most likely wasting our lives.
