There is a two-way misunderstanding in this case. First, many so-called spiritual communities are using these means to inflate their egos. For instance, I have created a Facebook account, and I have joined many of those communities. Very fast, I came to realized that most of the spiritual people do not have Facebook accounts. There were questions of the day like, “I know this is my last life here on Earth. Who is with me?” and then so many agreed and pumped themselves to higher levels above anyone else. That is definitely ego talking.
When I have created an account and joined all these communities, I was hoping to find people who share good energy and knowledge, but there are only a few of those. Also, I have shared for free my book “Fulfillment: A Journey Through A spiritual life,” and the response was from some that I only want to make money with my book, and I should be ashamed, even that my book promotion was free for three days.
Ultimately, I have closed my account and stayed away from Facebook or any other social media web sites.
Now the second misunderstanding can get promoted. Those who are judging may say about me or others who we left media websites because we consider ourselves better than rest.
I wanted to make it clear; there is no better or worst concept in a spiritual world. We all wanted to advanced as spiritual beings, and in a spiritual realm is no concept of competition but only humbleness and help. Jesus, for instance, is a spiritually evolved being, and the only thing he wanted is to help and teach people. We all should do the same, without judging or competing. The ego concept is completely vanishing when we follow the spiritual path.
