We must understand and interpret Jesus’ words and parabolas, which we have to agree, is difficult sometimes. However, in this case, Jesus was far from referring to the actual temple, that was a huge accomplishment for Jewish people. Some may say he was referring to his body, but also that could be a misinterpretation because as we know Jesus’ did not refer much to his physical body but to his spirit. What I believe he was referring was to present Jewish religion that was overwhelmed by power, politics, and customs forgetting the starting point, the word of God. In three days, due to the resurrection, the truth will come out again, and all of the old will be replaced with the new. Unfortunately, the Christian religion did exactly the same thing, after all, altering and adjusting as their greed and desires dictate.
