This article is a complement to a previous post Save Yourself To Save Humanity. The wind of change must start with ourselves.
We use to complain about others. If our leaders would change, we may be living in paradise. If our wives or husbands would change it will be no divorces. Always we create the state of mind that blames others. Are not the others accusing us using the same concept? Then, who’s fault is for anything wrong happening in the world? Always we say it is not our faults because we have been taught that way. We have been told to be afraid of making mistakes, and with that, we start protecting ourselves using the power of the mind. Well, is time to change. Is it enough and necessary to change me to change the world? We know so many thoughtful answers to that. Jesus said “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” We know as well the ocean is made of drops of waters or that the body is made up of cells. A building is made up of bricks and as long as a brick does not mean much yet the building stands strong and tall. Changing ourselves is the most crucial step in changing the world. Our changes will encourage others to do the same and then others to follow those adjustments. It would have a ripple effect and will help to change the world the way we wanted that everyone can live in peace and prosperity. Those may be only words but must look deeper behind their meaning.
If someone tells another he or she can change the world, we may think that is not possible. One alone cannot change the world, but we do not have to do it alone. That is the whole point of our transformation.
