What Are We Searching For?

Many of us have a feeling that something is missing. We look back, we look forward, and we cannot say what it is, but we know we must find something that will bring us peace. Many of us are engaging in a journey that we can compare with “The Golden Rush” except we do not look for gold. We look for happiness, but soon we realize that happiness is not something that we can find but instead we can achieve. Then what is it? It is called fulfillment. The most challenging part is that most of the time or we should say all the time we cannot get that from others. Fulfillment is a state and a stage of our lives that we can get it only for ourselves. We may go to church and listen to the priest and sing all the prayers, and still, that background noise stays with us. It is like we are looking for a quiet place, but we live in the city. We can hear all the cars, the building noises, the music from the restaurants and even we get used to it our souls cannot operate properly. We need quietness to communicate with God. Why is so difficult after all? Our mind interferes with our soul’s affairs. When finally we get to a place full of nature and positive energies we decided to put on the headset and listen to some music. We have become corrupted by noises without realizing it. We cannot live with ourselves only, and we think we always need a background polluter to entertain us. Returning to our original state, we may regain the lost channel. Wayne Dyer described it in a movie called “The Shift.” A pianist told a movie producer: “Listen!” while there was a quiet place in the middle of the night. The movie producer replied: “I do not hear anything.” Then the pianist: “You do not listen good enough.” We have forgotten to listen to quietness. When we would remember it, our search will be over.

  2. The gravity of hope and excitement is attractive I the physical material world. Ignoring the cost of friends and good times. Temptation has high maintenance cost. Think of a women. I moment can last the rest of your life. Why many are so pissed today. Being stuck in a female body.

JOY and Bliss is peace and quite. Just not exciting. Bringing that calmness back to the Noisy existence is like gaming. But you cannot hold that or you lose that.

No less that having a child and it dies. So hard to except the physical material existence. Unless you have peace and Tranquility to remember that joy if only for a moment of time.

Now that is Samadhi, Nirvana and Resurrection.

Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
